A Personal Commitment to a Healthy Lifestyle…

Alexa was born and raised in Miami Beach, FL. As a former competitive gymnast and life long fitness enthusiast, Alexa learned at a young age the role proper nutrition plays in affecting athletic performance. As a devoted culinarian, Alexa has learned how to balance the importance of making healthy food choices with the ability to enjoy the pleasures of the kitchen. In Alexa’s world, the recipes of choice are generally “training table  ready”. With that said, she is a firm believer that “chocolate” should be its own food group.

As the first and only Registered Dietitian to hold the position of Director of Research and Development at Arby’s, Inc., Alexa  is credited with leading numerous nutritionally focused projects for the brand. She, also, led the team effort that resulted in the introduction of “peppered bacon” to the fast food industry. Life is all about balance!
